In addition to pay by phone and pay by text, Banner and William Penn customers can now pay by digital wallet.
Customers will be able to receive bill notifications, past due notifications and have the ability to pay their premium via the wallet apps on their smart phones.
Policy owners or payors will need to add the LGA pass to the wallet app on their smart phones. There are two apps, one for iPhones (Apple Wallet) and one for Androids (Google Pay). Digital wallet payment is not available on an iPad.
• Customers can add the pass via their Legal & General America online Profiles by selecting the Apple Wallet or Google Pay buttons. This action adds the pass to the customer’s account.
• If the bill hasn’t been paid, the notification will be sent 5 days prior to the due date.
• The customer has the option to pay the bill via the pass or simply use it as a reminder.
• If the bill hasn’t been paid 15 days after the due date, another notification is generated. The 30-day late payment offer is still sent by regular mail. All other paper correspondence remains in place.
